The program starts with the arrival at Lima in the afternoon/night. So early check-in is not included if pax arrives in the morning.
Prices are subject to the availability of the offered hotels and services. Our Booking Dept. will inform you the final status and rate, after confirming the reservations.

PROGRAMA

Arrival at Lima’s international airport in the afternoon or night. Meeting with our personnel, transfer and lodging
in hotel (private service, English-speaking guide). Overnight.

2nd day | Lima / Iquitos / Muyuna Lodge

Breakfast in hotel. Transfer to the airport to take the flight to Iquitos. Upon arrival, transfer to the port to
take a boat towards the lodge (km 140, 3h). After having lunch, take the Leoncito Hike to appreciate the
immense variety of flora around the lodge. After watching the sunset over the forest of mirrors, back to the
lodge. After having dinner, boat ride to see caimans, nocturnal birds and mammals. Overnight.

3rd day | Muyuna Lodge

Breakfast. Boat trip to lakes Sapote and Moena for watching different birds, like parrots,
jacanas, kingfishers, herons, panguana, partridges, pigeons, cormorants, horned screamers, sloths, the
night monkey, squirrel, monk, stump, etc. After having lunch, boat trip to the lakes Purura and
Corriente and catch different kind of fish, including the famous piranha. After having dinner, night walk in
search of huge frogs and tarantulas. Overnight

4th day | Muyuna Lodge

Breakfast. We will take you to the Amazon River to swim with pink and grey dolphins. You will see the
biggest aquatic plant in the world, the famous Victoria Regia as well as iguanas and the bird “hoatzin” or
shansho. After having lunch, boat excursion to Jorge Caño looking for different species of monkeys,
especially the howler monkey. During the way back, we will share a special afternoon with the friendly San
Juan de Yanayacu village. After having dinner, canoe excursion to feel the sounds in a closer way.
Overnight.

5th day | Muyuna Lodge / Iquitos / Lima

Breakfast. Boat trip to Casha Lake which is not easily accessible. Here you will row or walk, depending on
the level of the river, looking at different species of birds and monkeys. After having lunch, transfer to
Iquitos’ port to be transferred to the airport to take the flight to Lima. Upon arrival, meeting with our
personnel and transfer to the hotel. Overnight.

6th day | Lima / Cusco (3.399 masl)

Breakfast in hotel. Transfer to the airport to take the flight to Cusco. Upon arrival, meeting with our
personnel and transfer to the hotel. In the afternoon, historical center walking tour (entrance fees to the
Cathedral and Santo Domingo/Coricancha are included) and transfer to the ruins of Sacsayhuaman,
Qenqo, Puca Pucara and Tambomachay (shared service, English-speaking guide). Overnight.

7th day | Cusco / Sacred Valley (2.846 masl) / Cusco

Breakfast in hotel. Full day excursion to visit the Pisaq market and ruins, the Ollantaytambo fortress
and Chinchero, lunch included. After the visits, return to Cusco (shared service, English-speaking guide).

8th day | Cusco / Machu Picchu (2.430 masl) / Cusco

Breakfast in hotel. Transfer to Ollantaytambo’s station (almost 2-hour journey) (private service, Spanish-
speaking driver) to take the train to Aguas Calientes (almost 1.30-hour journey, subject to availability).
Upon arrival, meeting your guide and take the 30-minute shuttle bus up to Machu Picchu (shared service,
English-speaking guide). After the guided tour, the local guide will leave you and you will take the shuttle
bus descend to Aguas Calientes town. Then, walk around 5 minutes to the train station for your train back to
Ollantaytambo (almost 1.30-hour journey). Upon arrival, transfer to Cusco (almost 2-hour journey) (private
service, Spanish-speaking driver). Overnight.

9th day | Cusco / Lima

Breakfast in hotel. Transfer to the airport to take the flight to Lima. Upon arrival, meeting with our personnel
and transfer to the hotel. In the afternoon, Lima’s city tour (entrance fee San Francisco Convent is
included) (shared service, Spanish/English-speaking guide). Overnight.

10th day | Departure from Lima

Breakfast in hotel. Transfer to the airport at the proper time for departure (passengers are requested to be
at the airport 3 hours before international flight).

THE PROGRAM INCLUDE

All transfers on arrival and departure of each locality, assisted by expert personnel.
NOTE: In Lima, in/out transfers will be assisted by our Spanish-speaking driver, except for the international arrival transfer, which is always attended by our English-speaking personnel.
All the excursions indicated in the program with Spanish/English-speaking local guides.
All entrance fees to the sites mentioned.
Expedition train to/from Machu Picchu.
Machu Picchu: circuit 1 or2
Transportation in comfortable tourist vehicles.
Meals as indicated.
